You’re Just Starting the Journey

At Bosch Auto Service, we believe in full transparency. That’s why it’s important for every potential franchisee to understand that:

Filling out an application or signing a Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) acknowledgment does not mean you are committing to anything. In fact, the early stages of our franchise process are designed to empower you with the information and time you need to decide if this opportunity is right for you.

The Role of the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD)

The FDD is a legal document required by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) that outlines everything you need to know about the Bosch Auto Service franchise system. It includes:

  • Our company background
  • The investment required
  • Support and training we provide
  • The legal terms of a franchise agreement
  • Your rights and responsibilities

It is not a contract. When you receive it, you’re not agreeing to anything. You’re simply receiving full transparency upfront – a consumer protection measure mandated by federal law.

Why You’re Asked to Acknowledge the FDD

When you receive the FDD, we ask you to sign a receipt acknowledging that you got it. This starts a federally required 14-day review period. Here's what you should know:

  • It’s a minimum of 14 calendar days before you can sign a franchise agreement or pay any money.
  • During this time, we encourage you to review the FDD with an attorney or advisor.
  • You are free to walk away at any point, without obligation

This period is not a formality. It’s a cooling-off time meant to protect you – ensuring you never feel rushed or pressured into a major business decision.

What Comes Next (If You Decide to Move Forward)

If, after reviewing the FDD and speaking with our team, you decide you’re ready to take the next step, then we’ll discuss:

  • Submitting a business plan
  • Reviewing the franchise agreement in full
  • Attending a discovery day
  • Starting the onboarding process

Only after all this—and only if you choose to proceed—do you sign a franchise agreement.
